gift certificates

Just about everyone wants professional photos of their new baby, but let's face it they're not exactly cheap.

Your nephew just turned two, but what do you get for a two-year old?

Mom-to-be really wants some beautiful belly photos, but an infant car seat is a much higher priority right now.

You don't want to just buy salad plates from a registry as an engagement gift for your sister's wedding shower, you want to get her something truly unique.

Go off-registry and give the gift of memories. Buy a gift certificate toward a professional photo session!

Personally, I really wish I had maternity photos taken when I was pregnant with my daughter. I ended up being super lucky that one of my dear friends who is also a photographer captured some very special moments for us when my girl was just a baby. My own photography skills grew with my own camera whenever I used her as my subject. But, there are so many moments when I didn't get out from behind the camera so I am missing from many of my family's early photos. That is from where my passion for photography really stems: the desire to not to miss the moment. It is the philosophy behind my photography, and the reason I do what I do.

Not only do I want to capture moments in time, I also want you to remember how you felt. That's my aim in every session, to show you YOU.

I can't think of a better gift to get for someone you love. I would be honored to be a part of capturing special moments and memories for the people in your life. Gift certificates are available in any denomination so you can purchase a full session, or a portion of a full session. Contact me for more information or to purchase a gift certificate!

Holiday cards

Fall is not just for mini sessions. I also still have lots of full sessions available for families, couples, and portraits this Fall. The weekends in November and December filled up quickly last year, though, so if you are interested in having some photos taken around the end of the year, it's best to start planning now.

Last year, I had the great pleasure of photographing some very special families. We held sessions in and around New York City, indoors and outdoors, in all sorts of settings. It was my greatest delight to open my mailbox every day and find these lovely faces smiling at me from their holiday cards.

Here is another adorable newborn session from a few months back. Little Felix was such a doll during his shoot, and his sweet parents are so in love with their little guy. Check out some of the adorable ideas for their family holiday card (the Coca Cola bottles, I thought, were particularly clever)!
