gift certificates

Just about everyone wants professional photos of their new baby, but let's face it they're not exactly cheap.

Your nephew just turned two, but what do you get for a two-year old?

Mom-to-be really wants some beautiful belly photos, but an infant car seat is a much higher priority right now.

You don't want to just buy salad plates from a registry as an engagement gift for your sister's wedding shower, you want to get her something truly unique.

Go off-registry and give the gift of memories. Buy a gift certificate toward a professional photo session!

Personally, I really wish I had maternity photos taken when I was pregnant with my daughter. I ended up being super lucky that one of my dear friends who is also a photographer captured some very special moments for us when my girl was just a baby. My own photography skills grew with my own camera whenever I used her as my subject. But, there are so many moments when I didn't get out from behind the camera so I am missing from many of my family's early photos. That is from where my passion for photography really stems: the desire to not to miss the moment. It is the philosophy behind my photography, and the reason I do what I do.

Not only do I want to capture moments in time, I also want you to remember how you felt. That's my aim in every session, to show you YOU.

I can't think of a better gift to get for someone you love. I would be honored to be a part of capturing special moments and memories for the people in your life. Gift certificates are available in any denomination so you can purchase a full session, or a portion of a full session. Contact me for more information or to purchase a gift certificate!

Milly & Helena

I photographed this lovely duo during my Mother's Day mini sessions this year in Bruce's Garden in Isham Park. The dynamic between this mother and daughter was gorgeous to watch. I was honored to capture them together in photos, and a few gorgeous shots of each of them (including some lovely maternity shots for mom).

By the way, sometimes people ask me if 30 minutes is enough time to get enough photos during a mini session. The answer is yes, always. Check out my Fall family mini sessions coming up in November!

Angela is not just a face in my blog, she is a dear old friend from childhood and a kick-ass advertising Exec. I was thrilled to do her maternity photos in her Brooklyn home. She especially wanted some photos with her "girls", her two black labs. We also got grandma, Angela's mother, in with some timeless mother-daughter photos.
